The AI Series is a student-led podcast at the University of Chicago where we explore how artificial intelligence is shaping our world through open and thoughtful conversations. From AI in education and policy to regulation, geopolitics, innovation, and the future of work, we bring together professors, students, researchers, and industry experts to share perspectives and ideas.

Our goal is to create a space where the UChicago community can ask questions, learn from one another, and better understand the opportunities and challenges AI brings to society. Through each episode, we hope to make conversations about AI more accessible, engaging, and connected to the issues that matter most to students today.UC3P

Welcome to the first episode of our AI Series! Today, we’re excited to be joined by Professors Levy and Clapp, who teach Data and Programming, for a conversation about AI and learning process. In this episode, we discuss how AI is being used in classrooms and education, how students can use AI effectively without losing core problem-solving skills, questions Harris students have been asking, and several recent AI-related cases, along with insights from our guest speakers.

What would you like to hear in our next episode? Are there any topics or professors you’d love for us to feature? Feel free to reach out to us and maybe drop a few compliments for our two professors to add to the carousel!
