  • 86. Las Vegas Loves the Mets, But Why?
    Jan 27 2026

The Mets’ offseason picture finally comes into focus heading into Port St. Lucie: Bo Bichette arrives, the Mets land a true top-of-the-rotation starter by trading for Freddy Peralta, and we run through the rest of the additions (Devin Williams, Luis Robert Jr., Marcus Semien, Jorge Polanco, Luke Weaver, Luis Garcia, Vidal Bruján, Craig Kimbrel) while reacting to one big headline: Vegas now has the Mets favored to win the NL East, as well as a top favorite to win the World Series.

Then LeeJay drops the barometer for the entire season: with moves like this, it’s not “win the division”… it’s World Series or bust.

We also hit Mets nostalgia (including the never-ending Beltrán strikeout discourse and what cap he’d wear in Cooperstown), then pivot to New York football with the Jets picking #2 and the Giants #5, and wrap with the Knicks—why the KAT/Giannis rumors won’t die, what The Athletic is saying, and what a real blockbuster would cost.

  • 85. The John Harbaugh Era Begins in New York
    Jan 20 2026

It’s official: John Harbaugh is the new head coach of the New York Giants.
Harbaugh and the Giants reportedly agreed to a 5-year deal worth $20M per year, and the biggest headline isn’t the money — it’s the power structure.

We dig into Ian O’Connor’s detailed reporting from The Athletic on how this got done, including the behind-the-scenes maneuvering from the Mara family, why Harbaugh demanded clarity on who he reports to (spoiler: John Mara), and what it means for the Giants’ entire operation moving forward.

Then we spin around the NFL as the coaching carousel continues — Kevin Stefanski to Atlanta, and the Bills stunningly firing Sean McDermott after nine seasons and one of the best win totals in the league over that span.

We also break down Divisional Round Weekend and repick our Conference Champions + Super Bowl winner based on who’s left.

On the baseball side, the Mets miss out on Kyle Tucker, but pivot to signing Bo Bichette. So… is this a win, a panic move, or both? We hit the pros/cons, what it means for run prevention, and why a MLB lockout feels inevitable at this point.

Plus: Chris Drury’s letter to Rangers fans (why do teams keep doing this?) and a Mt. Rushmore of Super Bowl foods to close it out.

  • 84. The Small Market Mets
    Jan 13 2026

Pitchers & catchers are less than 30 days away from reporting, but the Mets’ 2026 roster still feels unfinished. The 2 Dummies break down what’s left to fix, what big-name free agents are still out there, and whether the national perception of the Mets matches reality outside NYC.

On the hardwood, as we approach the NBA midseason mark and ask: Is it time for the Nets to go get a superstar — and is Ja Morant that guy? Plus, the Knicks’ recent skid (and why Karl-Anthony Towns isn’t the villain).

    Also in this episode:

    • Halftime check-in: Will’s Vitamin D deficiency (yeah… we went there)
    • Recapping a great NFL Wild Card weekend
    • Giants head coach search: why John Harbaugh is the favorite, and if he’s actually the answer
    • Our picks for the 8 NFL head coach openings
