Sechs College Freunde, die ein Geheimnis verbindet. Klar, das ist erst mal nicht neu. Aber im Ganzen ist es eine solide konstruierte, angenehm gesprochen, immer wieder überraschende Geschichte. Für mich sicher nicht das letzte Buch dieser Autorin!

This book was interesting, although the main character irritated me a bit with how naiive she was. I was not entirely captivated by the story, and I think it was because the author could have dove a little deeper into the thoughts and emotions of the characters specially with this kind of topic. All in all however I would recommend this to a friend if they asked for a thriller recommendation, though it would not be my first pick!

Six old friends from uni who meet up together after 25 years. They think they know each other... - but do they really?

This has kept me up at nights. Great story and great performer. At times a little upsetting how utterly clueless and helpless the protagonist is - but it's credibly explained by the plot. Must-read for fans of psychological thrillers.

Wir mischen eine Vergewaltigung... nein lieber zwei... oder doch fast drei... mit einer Protagonistin mit traumatischer Kindheit, mit einem betrügenden Ehemann, einer Tochter, die gegen den Willen nackt im Internet erscheint, einem Kuckuckskind, einer Organspende.. und und und....
Ich hatte das Gefühl die Autorin wollte hier alle ihre Ideen auf einmal verbraten, versäumt dabei aber auch nur eine einziges der vielen angerissenen Themen anständig zu Ende zu erzählen.
Zwei Sterne, weil ich zumindest bis zum Ende durchgehalten habe.
Sprecher super, können aber nicht viel retten.
