I looooove a good series :) and „Touch and Go“ by Aiden Bates is a promising start with an thrilling setting. Derek has 7 amazing foster brothers, he had met in the system at some time. All 8 men built a maybe odd but stunning family together caring deeply for each other. And all exept the youngest work at the front lines for search&rescue, fire, law enforcment and ER to now make a difference in other persons' lives. The mix of suspense and romance grabbed me and did not release me before the end.
Joseph Thorson has done a brilliant job giving the men of Vanguard Towers their distinctive voices and bringing out their emotions. Derek sounds perfectly like the tall, determined, strong and caring man I imagined his character to be. Mr.Thorson's voice variantions are amazing, as at the same time he brings out Seb's younger, softer personality and his hurt and confusion. Each time Seb was mooning over „Dr. Dish“, it was so sweet. Nearly 8 hours of pure listending enjoyment and the 8 heros are so amazing, I can't wait to learn more about each of them!
