"You are a girl, you can't be a pilot."
Those words resonated in Myriam's head throughout her teenager years while growing up in a small Swiss village. Nourishing her dream in silence, a dramatic event triggered the start of her commitment to turn her life into the biggest adventure she could dream of.
Here is the unique testimony of a female bush pilot who succeeded in living her dream through hard work and determination, no matter what the hardships. Her sheer will to prove that she was an exceptional pilot led her to an exceptional life. From mountains to desert, flying for humanitarian causes and firefighting, nothing stopped her. Not even war zones in Iraq, or rebel groups in Chad.
How do you survive in an environment where your health is at risk, let alone your life being on the line, to help others? Why would you give up the comfort of the Western world to find yourself in those forsaken places? One must be a little mad, or have some serious pioneer blood running through their veins.
