Jodi Picoult's poignant number one New York Times best-selling novels about family and love tackle hot-button issues head on. In The Storyteller, Sage Singer befriends Josef Weber, a beloved Little League coach and retired teacher. But then Josef asks Sage for a favor she never could have imagined - to kill him. After Josef reveals the heinous act he committed, Sage feels he may deserve that fate. But would his death be murder or justice?

The only thing that ruined the experience for me, was the fact that Edoardo Ballerini, who put his voice to Joseph, cannot speak German. Or if he does, he forgot about it when he voiced this book. He is a good narrator, but I am meant to imagine a German soldier, a Nazi, when I hear him in this book. Instead its a strange form of german-accented american/german something we are listening to. This could have, no this should have been casted better or at least someone should have helped him pronounce words more like they are meant to!
Otherwise a great book!
