This is a good book by all means, interesting story well laid out, development of the different characters and a lot of suspense leading to a gripping end. I did not like Lottie at first, but she starts to frowning me, I will certainly listen to the next instalment.

Ich habe der Geschichte gern zugehört, sie war spannend und nicht so langwierig wie book 1. Und Lottie wird auch hier nicht sympathischer und bleibt das gleiche Wreck wie in Book 1 :-) Was mir nicht so gefallen hat, es passiert sehr sehr lange kaum was, Lottie und Team kommen in 4/5 des Buches nicht weiter. Und in den letzten 1-2 Erzählstunden passiert alles auf einmal. Ausserdem ist für meinen Geschmack zu detailliert beschrieben, wie die Opfer leiden/streben. Ansonsten aber tolles Buch, sehr verwobene Geschichte, man sieht das Ende nicht kommen.

Spannend ja - vor allem im letzten Teil.

After reading some of the "the second book is better " reviews I gave this second book a chance.
Well, still the most annoying characters...in "Inspector Barnaby" style, where all the crimes have to involve Lottie's family...

die Sprecherin ist bemüht, tut sich aber schwer, einen aufgebrachten Mann rüberzubringen. Das wirkt eher hysterisch
