Crime reporter Jesse Fingard comes to his last day on an all-expenses-paid trip to Puerto Vallarta, courtesy of the Oakland Tribune. After obtaining proof that mass murderer and serial killer Billy Dew is alive and possibly responsible for an outbreak of child abductions, Jesse uses his last night to plan a celebratory night with his wife, Natasha, by the beautiful seaside. However, when Natasha fails to return from a supply run, Jesse fears the worst.
Instead of the kidnapping Jesse believes it to be, Natasha has run off with Billy - the very killer her new husband has tried to catch for years. Desperate to escape to a new life, Natasha and Billy evade a massive manhunt that spans from the port of Puerto Vallarta to the streets of Oakland. Hunting Billy down to where it all began, Jesse is hell-bent on catching him and reclaiming Natasha - unaware of what Hell truly resides within the ruthless Billy Dew.
In the final book of the Billy Dew trilogy, reporter Jesse Fingard’s wife runs off with his longtime rival and obsession, Billy Dew, who has a supernatural hunger for human flesh.
