Moyes always creates characters you care about and Still Me is full of them
This is more than a will they/won't they make it romance - although Jojo has your heart in a vice till the end. This is a love letter to Lou, and anyone who's been unsure of who they are. It's a beautifully told, inspiring tale of what can happen when you leave your comfort zone, listen to your heart and trust it will all be OK. And it made us love Lou Clarke and her bee tights even more.
Louisa is a dream character, and this is going to be huge - deservedly so

I cried and I laughed - I loved the characters and the story, brought to life so beautifully by the narrator. Loved the blend of Americanisms and English culture. This is my first Jojo Meyes, will definitely be reading more of her books.

Es dauerte zwar etwas bis die Geschichte in Schwung kam, aber dann war es wie bei allen Romanen der Autorin: Man hatte das Gefühl, als wäre man selbst Teil der ungewöhnlichen, teilweise spannenden, manchmal komischen aber immer herzzerreißend und sehr natürlich erzählten Handlung, die niemals "erfunden" wirkte oder lanweilig daherkam. Auch die Nebenhandlungen fügten sich so nahtlos zum Hauptstrang dazu, dass stets der Eindruck tatsächlich erlebter Ereignisse und Emotionen entstand und die Hauptfigur Louisa Clark beinahe aus dem Buch zu steigen schien. Und genau das macht eine tolle Autorin aus. Bravo Jojo Moyes!

I love how Jojo Moyes managed to present Louisa Clarke in a consistent and natural kind of way. Nothing was exaggerated or the opposite. The book is just so normal and seems like a real story. There is no exciting or gripping plot. It is really just the story of Louisa Clarke. Although there are many emotions one can absolutely identify with. I have loved it!

A little lenghty but an absolute gem.
