All in all it's not only a great introduction for things to come, but a fun listen on its own and the narrator is so soothing to listen to. I even enjoy her accents, which many really can't do well.
Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Zwischendurch schafft es die Autorin auch beinahe sowas wie Spannung aufzubauen, nur um es dann immer und immer wieder einzureißen – es ist frustrierend gewesen. Dazu drehen sich alle sechs Bände nur um die unwiderstehliche Hauptfigur, alle andern haben praktisch kein eigenes Leben und tauchen nur auf, um diese noch mehr hervorzuheben. *gähn*
Die Ideen hätten so viel mehr Story hergegeben, so ist sie unglaublich langatmig und immer, wenn ein kleiner Lichtblick auftaucht und man kurz die Hoffnung hegt, dass Abwechslung rein kommt, wird man enttäuscht. Gar nicht näher drauf eingehen möchte ich, dass die Autorin es auch nicht schafft, ihre Hauptfigur in ihren Handlungen glaubhaft wirken zu lassen.
1,5 Sterne für die enthaltenen Ansätze aber insgesamt keine Empfehlung von mir. Wer gerne Fantasy liest oder hört und vielleicht schon komplexere Geschichten gelesen hat, sollte um diese flache Serie einen weiten Bogen machen.
