I've already read this series in German and simply felt in love with it! 😍❤️ I adore Tahereh Mafis writing and the great characters she's built. Juliette is so vulnerable and strong at the same time and Kenji is the moment killer! 😁 He's funny and becomes the best friend, Juliette could wish for. And Warner is just... Awwwwwwwwww... 😍😍😍🙌🙌🙌 Totally deep and sexy and intelligent and I love him. My best book boyfriend ever, I've fallen for him so hard - Juliette, watch your back! 😜❤️

And the speaker has done a great job, I adore her voice and reading style. It fits perfect and is probably the best I heard so far. Can't wait to listen to the next title in the Shatter Me Series! 🎧🤩 I suggest this incredible books for everyone, who likes deep and captivating stories with an outstanding writing style. Nach den ersten paar Kapiteln wollte ich das Hörbuch schon fast beenden, weil ich dachte es wäre nichts für mich. Anfangs war es mir zu chaotisch und die "scribble" Geräusche von Juliettes Stift in ihrem Notizbuch haben noch total irritiert 😅

Zum Glück habe ich weitergehört😍 es wurde wirklich noch gut! Klar, die Lovestory ist vorhersehbar und komplett neu ist die ganze Idee der Geschichte auch nicht. Nichtsdesto trotz gefällt sie mir & auch vor allem der Schreibstil.

Werde direkt das zweite Buch hören 🥳

Was die Geschichte angeht, werde ich nicht viel mehr sagen, als dass ich glaube, dass ich für solche Geschichten mittlerweile zu alt bin :/ Andererseits ärgert mich die Infantilisierung von Frauen sehr und lässt mir die Haare zu Berge stehen. Natürlich ist Juliette 17 Jahre alt und in der Geschichte vielleicht ein wenig naiv und und und (und hat noch einen langen Weg vor sich was auch character development angeht), aber durch diese Stimme wirkt sie lächerlich und sogar dumm. Ich habe gesehen, dass in anderen Büchern verschiedene Sprecher für die Stimmen eingesetzt werden, daher frage ich mich: Warum nicht auch in diesem?

Durch den holprigen Einstieg hatte ich meine Zweifel ob mir die Geschichte noch zusagen wird. Das tat sie jedoch. UND WIE sie das tat. Ich empfehle jedem durchzuhalten, denn es wird besser und besser. Die Sprecherin hat eine so schöne und sympathische Stimme, welche perfekt für die Protagonisten war und sie hat zudem auch alle Emotionen so gut ausdrücken können, dass ich wie gebannt war. Ich will jetzt auch nicht viel vorweg nehmen und kann diese Geschichte jedem ans Herz legen der auf Romantik,Dystopie,Science-fiction und ,,Charakterentwicklungen vom Feinsten“ steht. Ich mache mich jetzt aufgeregt an den zweiten Teil. 😳

Good story but I think Juliette is a bit to helpless. Yes I know main character girls are always a bit helpless but that was too much to me and also why is she excusing everything she does???
The idea is good but I won't continue😔
