Gerade die ersten 4 Kapitel waren ziemlich krass und nichts für schwache Gemüter. Ist schon stellenweise eine anstrengende Geschichte, aber nie eine Geduldsprobe!
Irgendwie klinge ich, als hätte mir der Roman nicht gefallen, dabei fand ich ihn richtig gut! Die Sprecher sind super, wobei Sebastian York etwas kurz kam - was aber ok war, denn die Erzählperspektive der Protagonistin ist die ausschlaggebende.
Die Handlung ist vielschichtig und abwechslungsreich. Die Nebencharaktäre sind gut dargestellt und wichtig. Manche möchte man fast kennenlernen.
Ja, das Ganze ist schon auch schnulzig, aber das gehört zum Genre.
Ich wollte etwas Seichtes zum beim-Kochen-hören und habe stattdessen rumgesessen und dieses Buch durchgesuchtet. Klare Empfehlung, echt schön.
