The second I stepped through the doors of Gray Wolf Academy, my world disintegrated. Here, time is malleable. It can be manipulated, shifted. Changed.
And for those of us who Trip—or travel through time—the possibilities are infinite and perilous.
Now my life is caught in the secrets of everyone around me. Arthur, the eccentric billionaire who rules this school. Killian, who could be the only honest person here … or the biggest liar. And Braxton, magnetic, gorgeous, and unfathomable. The only thing I trust about him is our electric connection.
Whether we’re Tripping through Renaissance Italy or thieving from a ball in Regency England, my life’s become a web of lies and strange truths. And beneath the surface is an elaborate puzzle, filled with cryptic symbols and priceless treasures scattered across history—all somehow connected to my
strange ability to see through time.
But Arthur has a dangerously ambitious agenda. And if what my dad taught me is true, I’m not just a threat to everyone at Gray Wolf.
… I’m a threat to time itself.

Nice 2nd book

I kept thinking that I could anticipate what was to happen only for something else to happen and my emotions were kept on their toes soaring up and down. This book was absolutely nothing like I expected it to be. And I’m all the happier about it.
While this book did at times seem to stretch a bit and sometimes I wasn’t sure at what the author was going for, it later made sense.
I love how the author incorporated tarot cards, history and famous pieces of art (as well as the artist himself).
All in all I enjoyed this book and would greatly recommend listening to it if you’re not only looking for a good second addition to this series, but also for:
- characters with complex backstories
- different ties between characters and rightfully never knowing the full story, resulting in the interpersonal relations and intrigues feeling all the more realistic (and keeping you guessing who to trust, who to like, who to dislike, and mostly it keeps you guessing the entire time which motives drive which characters) (Ps: this was my fave part about it all. Thinking I know to then be proven absolutely wrong and begin guessing anew.)
- actual chemistry between characters
- here and there some really interesting facts about tarot and numerology
- a romantic tale that still isn’t the normal basic boring romantasy story you usually get in this book genre.
- time travel (bc how cool is that?!)
Wish you a wild ride and may your emotions jump just as all over the place as mine did!
Take a chance at this book.
PS: The speakers are good. Took a few minutes to get used to them, but they’re absolutely fantastic.
Rollercoaster of emotions and not at all what I expected.
