Streckenweise ist die Geschichte etwas zu englisch-nostalgisch in ihrem Wahnsinn, nicht so zeitlos-universell wie Puppenmord/Wilt", aber die Schärfe der Beobachtungsgabe von Tom Sharpe setzt sich doch durch und die Stimme von Griff Rhys Jones gibt das ganze Spektrum der Handelnden adäquat mit dem ihrer sozialen Stellung passenden Akzent wunderbar wieder.

Wie gesagt: beinahe Woodhouse, aber eigentlich besser.
