Da ich die Lux Serie liebe, hatte ich doch gewisse Erwartungen an dieses Buch.
Bis Chapter 19 fand ich die Story langweilig, Hunter nur arrogant und nervend, Serena dumm und unlogisch.
Ab Chapter 20 hat die Story ein bisschen Schwung bekommen, Hunter war etwas interessanter. Leider war Serena bis zum Schluss total einfältig und ihre Handlungen und Gedanken entbehrten jeglicher Logik.
Kurz vorab. Ich verstehe nicht warum die Passagen aus Hunters Perspektive nicht von einem Mann gelesen wurden.
Es war vollkommen verwirrend wenn Mrs. Josephs auf einmal aus der Sicht Hunters sprach und dann wieder zurück zu Serenas gewechselt hat.
Und nun zur Sprecherin selber.
Ich werde ganz sicher kein von ihr gelesenes Buch mehr hören.
Mir persönlich hat ihre Art zu lesen überhaupt nicht gefallen. Zum einen war ihr Sprachrhythmus sehr sprunghaft außerdem hat sie eine super 'singende' Art zu sprechen.
Am schlechtesten fand ich sie während sie erotische Szenen gelesen hat. Sie klang alles andere als erotisch.
Alles in allem ziemlich enttäuschend.
