On the first day, there was mystery.

Arthur Penhaligon is not supposed to be a hero. He is, in fact, supposed to die an early death. But then his life is saved by a key shaped like the minute hand of a clock.

Arthur is safe–but his world is not. Along with the key comes a plague brought by bizarre creatures from another realm. A stranger named Mister Monday, his avenging messengers with bloodstained wings, and an army of dog-faced Fetchers will stop at nothing to get the key back–even if it means destroying Arthur and everything around him.

Desperate, Arthur ventures into a mysterious house– a house that only he can see. It is in this house that Arthur must unravel the secrets of the key–and discover his true fate.

i just finished the hole series. And I am obsessed and so happy to have found these books.
The Charakters and story telling is so greatly abstract and creative. I love it to fully dive into another world, that is similar to ours but jet so much more exciting.
For those who love fantasy and a good alternative story about how the world was made, this is a treasure.

I'm in love

I read those when i was younger and i love to hear them again i love the overall Story and this is only the beginning every charackter feels unique especial the antagonistic Days

The only thing k dont like is with goin throu it again it sometimes has some part thats drag a little and a the adventure takes some time until it get going but its worth it
I cant remember if this will change later on but i looking forward to get to the next ones

Having just read through the Abhorsen series, I was eager to get more form Garth Nix. I was really surprised to find that: 1) the story is widely different in tone and topic 2) it is just as uniquely creative as the Abhosen.

I really enjoied this book and was pleased to find that despite the absence of Tim Curry who made such a great impression with Abhorsen, the reader of these novels is just as engaging.

I'm not finished with this sereis 'the Keys to the Kingdom' yet but am greatly anticipating each book!

Wildly Creative and Well Read

The interpretation is great but the story was too complex, too fantastic to understand everything.
Recommend to those who really enjoy being transported in another world.
