It's a good story. An easy and fast read: the pace of the story is also quite fast, but easy to follow. The MMC annoyed me with his self-centred view, luckily he overcame this phase. What I noticed in this and also in the first book, is that there's some fast-paced character development happening in both. I guess that's the style of these books. The main characters may not turn from villains to heroes (or the other way around), but that's what makes these bool feel quite realistic. If that's something you like, I totally recommend this book (and actually the whole series). This book can be read as a standalone, but you're missing out on the first book XD

I like the VAs, they do the heavy lifting to get to the ending. It seems like there are cut chapters because every problem just gets solved by the end without a reason outside of the books deadline.
