Die Autorin weiß zu unterhalten (z. B. in schlagfertigen, amüsanten Dialogen) und kann gefährliche Situationen spannend darstellen. Es fehlt der Story jedoch an Tiefgang und die einzelnen Charaktere sowie die Handlung insgesamt werden eher oberflächlich dargestellt. Man erfährt so viel wie nötig, um zu verstehen, wer wer ist und was gerade passiert, um jedoch einen wirklich außergewöhnlichen Roman abzuliefern, hätte sich die Autorin mehr Zeit für ihre Charaktere, deren (Innen)leben und die gesamte Welt geben sollen.
Als Untermalung bei diversen Hobbies, der Hausarbeit, langen Autofahrten etc. durchaus unterhaltsam. Erwarten Sie jedoch keinen bahnbrechenden Roman, der das Genre neu definiert ;)
