Die Story wird überwiegend von Hope und ihrer Schwester Darcy erzählt. Ab und an gibt es weitere Sichten wie die von Penelope oder der einen, die im Council der Queen ist. Wieder einmal war ich mitten im Geschehen drin und konnte mich sehr gut in die Figuren hineinversetzen.
Intrigen werden im Hintergrund gesponnen, wieder andere haben andere Pläne, die noch nicht ganz ergründet werden können. Das Zusammenspiel ist einfach super! Die Leistung der beteiligten Sprecherinnen und Sprecher ist großartig. Jeder von ihnen kann sich gut in seine Rolle hineinversetzen und diese so verkörpern. Sounddesign sowie Musik ist ebenfalls passend dazu abgestimmt.
Wer Fantasy, Mystery und Geschichten über Vampire mag, dem wird "Impact Winter" auf jeden Fall auch sehr gefallen. Bislang gibt es die Hörspielserie nur auf Englisch, aber es ist sehr verständlich und hörenswert! Von mir bekommt sie auf jeden Fall fünf von fünf Stars und ich denke, dass dies nicht das Ende war. Denn es muss weitergehen.

Every twenty minutes of runtime someone is making out, having sex or at least talking about sex.
I was able to look past that in the first season since the actual story behind it was interesting.
Unfortunately I bought season 2 and 3 at the same time so I was stuck with 3 after 2 disappointed me massively.
The author constantly has the characters talk about their very obvious feelings which really slows the plot to a crawl.
Usually nothing happens and when something happens it's usually solved by some Mary Sue nonsense or deus ex machina.
This is Vampire fetish porn with unearned powers and misandrist tendencies.
The later could also be explained with the author not liking to write men in sexy situations. Would explain why everyone and they mother is a lesbian in this story. There are usually not even enough men in one place to even think of completing the Reverse Bechdel-Test. Usually the men are also the distrustful schmucks in this story. Those who don't listen to reason. Always right before they die and their 10 minutes of screentime ends.
I wanted badass vampire hunters and what I got was whiney and emotional teens.
