The author manages to built up and play with expectation and anticipation really well. It left me wanting to hear more of the story. I wasn't expecting the story to follow multiple POVs but in my opinion it worked exceptionally well here. The voice actor did a great job at finding differing voices for all the characters which made me be able to recognize who's speaking very well. I loved this a lot!

An absolute page turner

This was my second audiobook from darcy coates. The first one i listened to was "from below" which was also a total banger but compared to this one, the buildup of dread was a little more linear in my opinion. Hunted on the other hand starts scary and doesnt let the feeling of unease waver, while still raising the stakes without letting up. There are of course reprives but not to a point of letting the tension go entirely. There are a few very good plottwist and one that literaly made me pause to process what had just happened. I dont want this review to get to long so to summarize, this is an amazing listen or read, which made me oversleep for work just because I couldnt pause and listened till 2am. I hope I could convey my feelings about this book and if the stars align could convince someone to give it a try.
I wish I could again with a wiped memory.
