I do not think I have grinned, giggled, snort-laughed like this for a long time, my face still hurts from smiling so much, and my stomach muscles still hurt. This book is just the right cure to get over a book hangover. This book is simply sweet, sexy and a fun time.
It is the first time I read/listened to a book by Tara Sivec, but this won’t be my last for sure. Her humour just won me over. I am already a big fan of Andi Arnd´s voice and her portrayal of naïve, inexperienced, awkward Heid, and the comedic timing is nothing short of perfection! I love that Andi also co-wrote this with Tara.
I was entertained from the first to the last minute. I enjoyed every step of Heidi coming out of her shell by creating her, at times, box wine influenced erotica podcast to gain more confidence over her sexual awkwardness by trying to read steamy sexy lines from romance novels and winning over her handsome neighbour Brent, who is just swoony all by himself, with her adorable dorkiness. Heidi´s way of describing words without saying the “naughty” expression is beyond hilarious. Plus, Heidi´s mum & aunt are just a hoot. OMG, so funny!
I recommend this book just because it leaves you happy and gives you many laughs if you need them.
