I didn’t expect this story to be so.. raw and beautiful. I didn’t expect to fall for those characters. I didn’t expect the performance of all of those wonderful narrators to hit home. Joe narrating Kane felt like he wrote a character he wanted to voice for a long time. Don’t know if that true, but it felt like it.

This is such a beautiful story on life and death and of course how through love all is possible. But not in your typical romance fluffy way. Of course I knew from the beginning Rue and Kane would fall for each other. But the way they did was so magical, so pure and beautiful. I loved how DJ and Joe could incorporate so many jokes into such a heavy story and make it light. I loved all of them. Especially Big D.

The writing style was grown up, it didn’t felt forced, it felt experienced. Even thy spice felt like I was eating a 10 course luxury meal. Amazing job DJ and Joe and to all voice actors ♥️

I hope there will be another book from you two :)
