I quite enjoyed this story and the main character was engaging. I didn’t like the LI that much but maybe that is because we didn‘t get to see her POV. Was still enjoyable and they seem to fit together well

Abby Craden and E.J. Noyes are a perfect pairing. Craden gives each character their own voice and brings out emotions just right.
The story is one of the best Noyes has ever written, it's deep, it's emotional, it's sexy, it's funny - love it

There are really no right words to describe how E.J. Noyes gets me with every story. Alone is still my favorite. But Gold comes very close to it. She describes all the feelings so incredibly well and beautiful that you feel like you’re a part of the story. I‘m already looking forward to the next one.

Autorin und Leserin sind meiner Meinung nach ein unschlagbares Gespann, auch wenn die Redewendungen und Wortwitze sich nach einer Weile wiederholen. Die Geschichten sind weder extrem vorhersehbar noch außrrgewöhnlich originell, was dem Hörgenuss jedoch überhaupt kein Abriss bereitet. Dafür sorgt wie gesagt schon die Leserin. Es ist in der Tat eine "gute Unterhaltung" mit audible
