That’s what the battle mage farmer books make me think every time I pick one up.
Pair it with mister John Sutton who wants nothing to do with his hinted past and his grumpy attitude to everything and you can rely on me to be hooked.
Round two on the series did not disappoint and gave Elli, arguably the female protagonist the chance of stepping into her own power, allowing her to go a bit more toe to toe with the bad evil that is brewing in and growing fast in this world!
So if you wanna come along on a journey to see how most likely a grouchy (not so) old soldier wants to be a farmer but still ends up in shenanigans the level of any good DnD session this is for you!
