In the second book of the internationally bestselling Vampire Academy series, love and jealousy collide on the slopes as winter break turns deadly.

“We’re suckers for it.”—Entertainment Weekly

Rose loves Dimitri, Dimitri might love Tasha, and Mason would die to be with Rose . . .

Rose has serious guy trouble. Her gorgeous tutor, Dimitri, has his eye on someone else; her friend Mason has a huge crush on her; and she keeps getting stuck in her best friend Lissa’s head while Lissa’s making out with her boyfriend, Christian.

Then a nearby Strigoi attack puts St. Vladimir’s on high alert, and the Academy whisks its students away on a mandatory holiday ski trip. But the glittering winter landscape and posh Idaho resort only provide the illusion of safety. When three students run away to strike back against the deadly Strigoi, Rose must join forces with Christian to rescue them. Only this time, Rose—and her heart—are in more danger than she ever could have imagined. I liked the second book very much. Something that irritated me at first was the new voice reading the book though. She did a really great job, but I like it very much if they can keep the same person. Though I know that's not always possible.

Great book but new readers voice

I love Frostbite, not the first time that I read it. It‘s the first time I listen to it though.. I prefered the previous narrator, in my opinion every character sounded almost the same and even Dimitri‘s voice isn‘t as described by the author.. And why is Mia Rinaldi suddenly Maya? In my Paperback and ebook copy it‘s still Mia Rinaldi. Dear Narrator, please don‘t change the name throughout the novel, first readers could get confused.
Otherwise, I really enjoyed the book and tried to not cry at some parts. The narrator brought a lot of emotions in those scenes.

Oh Dimka ❤️
