“Funny-Bone.com, Chuckles at Work” is a book of humorous short stories, born in the supermarket during Covid-19. Let me explain… I’ve spent my entire adult life as a professional photographer, but COVID-19 basically crashed my professional photography business. What do I do now? I’m not educated in any other profession and, to make it more challenging, I am severely dyslexic, making any employment requiring me to write in English quite unachievable. After months of looking at a limited job market, I was finally hired by a German supermarket chain to supervise the self-checkout area. I soon found that, working with customers, you can often see a story unfolding if you pay attention to the details. You can find humor or joy in the ordinary if you just pay attention. That’s what inspired me to write this book.
