Tired of the necromancer threat, Regan increases efforts to deal with them at their heart of power in the north. Good story nice characters but the speakers do the same voice for all charackters. Easy to lose where is speaking right now.

I actually liked the concept of the series but this book is just a disappointment. It is very short, near to nothing is happening, scenes feel disconnected, the narrator is unable to get any feeling in his voice or to speak female voices at all. Over all of this the author seems to force his Anime / Manga dreams of huge chested girls with big weapons.

Trashy and boring

I really like the story and disapointed at the same time. The male Narrator is simply FLAT he makes all characters feel Boring. The old female Narrator from book 1 and 2 was better since the current female Narrator has a weird way of starting a sentence loud and by the time the sentence ends we can bare hear the last few words.

The book would be waaay better with one good Narrator (like Nick Podehl, Austin Rising, Andrew Tell, Tom Taylorson, Travis Baldree. Just to name a few) than 2 bad ones.

And it is hard to get used to the new voices. Still the best of this series is the first chapter of the first book, after that it is a steady decline storywise.

The female narrator is replaced.
