Die Geschichte war am Anfang so viel versprechend... hadjar wurde Erwachsen und und stellt sich seiner Dunkelheit aber anscheinend nur damit der Autor ihn direkt durch eine für mich erzwungene liebes Geschichte wieder in die Dunkelheit zurückstecken kann. So ergab sich meinerseits keine Charakterentwickung sondern nur ein Hin und her ohne Richtung. Wäre besser für die Reihe gewesen wäre er nach dem Sieg im Krieg direkt in die Drachenlande geflogen ohne dieses hin und her. Für mich 14 Stunden verschenkt Zeit.

Guter Anfang, dann Verwirrung

Der Anfang des Buches war sehr gut, schöne Charakter Entwicklung, dann kommt eine etwas seltsame Geschichte mit der Dämonen Stadt, dann ein Bruch etwa in der Hälfte des Buches der absolut so gegen alles geht was man anhand der restlichen Bücher erwartet hat. Dazu noch eine romantische Verirrung die ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen konnte, ich hielt Hadjar eh schon für nicht das hellste Licht aber das hier macht einfach keinen Spaß mehr. Keine Ahnung was sich der Autor dabei gedacht hat...
Ich habe selten so viele Kapitel übersprungen wie bei diesem Buch, der wirklich interessante Teil macht lediglich ein Drittel des Buches aus, der Rest sind die immer gleichen Selbstzweifel und Egotripts die eigendlich längst überwunden geglaubt nur neu verpackt, dazu kommen noch Zeitsprünge die unnötig erscheinen, das ganze verliert an Konsistenz...
