Despite all odds, Lilith has gained acceptance from two heroines who should hate and fear her very existence.
Gina and Rachel have agreed to help Lilith's attempt to get the death sentence on her head rescinded, but they have to work carefully. Their time runs short, though. Doctor Johnson's plots advance, and other villains are infiltrating San Francisco.
In the end, the question becomes what to do when Lilith's identity is discovered, and all hell breaks loose. Despite the risk of death bearing down on her, Lilith decides that she's tired of simply running away.

Amazing story and reader

I admire how the progress of the main relationship is portrayed, how Morgan and Warden have to slowly introduce Lilith to the concept of showing affection and love making.
The story concentrates quite a bit more on moving itself along wich is very reasonable, since much of the main cast had their character intro in the 1st book.
There are a few problems.
The story has some problems with overpowered mental characters because it has not introduced any good defence against those for ppl who have no extra mental defence because of their own power. Well that's not absolutely true, but the only place where it was introduced was the 1st book, where it was put as a defence in the house of warden and that introduces the question why does no one ask Morgan(or any other hero that can do such a thing) to give them the same protection on clothes or jewery.
As a personal preference I don't like the hopping from character to character, but I understand that this is done to flesh out many of the characters(wich I see as positive), so I see the need for it.
Why is mind controlling heroes never discussed except for when it happens to the cast, because if it's that easy (2 different characters nearly controlled in very short amount of time) there should be quite a few heroes in the clutches of villains pretty much all the time.
Looking forwad to the next book coming out.
The story picks up some speed
