When Aurora found out that the vampires were after her blood to procreate, she thought she knew her mission. Take out the vampires and live happily ever after with Kai and their pack. But when the witches discover something about her, everything changes. Maybe Aurora doesn't have as much control over her fate as she thought and sometimes allies become enemies. Aurora and Kai must defy all odds if their future is to end in happiness.

- attack on save haven, big spectacle, but it's just a means to make the reader more angry at vampires, the reader doesn't even learn who the victim was
It makes no sense for this secret human group to fight the werewolfs instead of the vampires even if they don't want the protagonist to marry. It would make much more sense to stay allied and use the protagonist as bait.
The religious crap kills the protagonists character, you can't have a character that is trying to change destiny and say that's their destiny, that doesn't work. If it's their destiny to change destiny, destiny doesn't need changing in the 1st place. Also it doesn't make sense that this great spirit thing would make it so that the ppl who did it's bidding just died after.
Details that would make the story more substantial and relateable get overlooked or just forgotten, like the cat the protagonist gets, she gets it and we don't see it or hear from it again until chapters later. The protagonists mother never comes up except for memories until the marriage half way into the book.
The protagonist tells her mate only half truths the whole time to reveal the all information later when she gets found out or she has some big reveal about herself wich makes no sense for her character, they are less open with eatchother in this book than in the 1st one.
While I can appreciate the side story with the gay wolf it makes no sense in this story for him to have a male mate since it was clearly stated that this "spirit" made the mate bonds for couples to have children.
And many more such problems. I feel the autor only had a vague idea what the story should be and just improvised while wrting the parts between the "important" story bits.
much spectacle, no substance
