In Hatchet, 13-year-old Brian Robeson learned to survive alone in the Canadian wilderness, armed only with his hatchet. Finally, as millions of readers know, he was rescued at the end of the summer. But what if Brian hadn't been rescued? What if he had been left to face his deadliest enemy--winter?

Gary Paulsen raises the stakes for survival in this riveting and inspiring story as one boy confronts the ultimate test and the ultimate adventure. Literatura i beletrystyka Sensacja i przygoda

After "Hatchet" & "Raft" Gary Paulsen wrote an optional spin-off, that aske: Could Brian be able to survive a Canadian Winter? A simple change, that the emergency transmitter didn't work made it possible. Brian is still stranded in the Canadian Woods. The rifle gets broken, and he had to go back hunting with bow and arrow. It's getting cold, and now mistakes can have deadly consequences. Better learn quickly or you won't survive! It's a fascinating tale, in which Gary Paulsen also used his own experiences in the woods during winter. Richard Thomas does an excellent job as narrator! Enjoy :3
