Bill Bryson
Neither Here nor ThereThirty years after backpacking across Europe, Bill Bryson decides to retrace the journey he undertook in the halcyon days of his youth–carrying with him a bag of maps, old clothes…and a stinging wit honed to razor sharpness by two decades of adult experience.
I’m a Stranger Here MyselfBill Bryson read “somewhere” that nearly three million Americans believed they had been abducted by aliens–clearly the Americans needed Bill back. So after years raising his family in Britain with his English wife, the brood moves to the United States, and leaves Bill to chronicle the quirkiest aspects of life in America as he reveals his own rules for life.Notes from a Small Island

Loved the Narration

He sounds as lifelike as a three-year old's papier mache figure of a zombie horse. Crazily boring and uneventful, absolutely murdered the books.
And his mixture of accents... Dear god, it's a massacre.
I'd really like to return this audiobook, if at all possible.
Wonderful writer, worst reader ever

It’s just a boring list of all the places he’s seen.
But most of all he criticizes Britain in the rudest and most shameless way.
If you would believe Brycen you could think it was the ugliest country in the world. Which clearly isn’t true, quite the opposite.
Boring and rude
