When she is an adult, she answers a mail-order bride ad she sees in the local newspaper, and agrees to marry a rancher, the oldest of three brothers. When she arrives, she finds that the situation is not what she was led to believe. Anna agrees to be their housekeeper while the mess is straightened out.
