Scripture: Philippians 4:6–7 (KJV) — “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Prayer Themes • Peace • Reassurance • Trust Welcome to Daily Prayer. I’m Reverend Ben Cooper. Join us live from London, England, as we bring our restless thoughts before the God of Israel and seek the peace that comes through Jesus Christ. Perhaps your morning has already become overwhelming. Messages need answering, responsibilities are waiting, and somewhere beneath everything else is a worry you cannot seem to put down. You may have prayed about it before, yet the concern keeps returning. Paul’s words in Philippians invite us to bring our requests before God with thanksgiving. They do not condemn those who experience anxiety. Instead, they direct troubled hearts towards the Lord, whose peace is greater than our ability to explain or control our circumstances. Today, we remember listeners across Ireland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy and the Netherlands. Whatever the hour in your part of the world, you are welcome in this moment of prayer. Heavenly Father, You know the thoughts that trouble us and the responsibilities we cannot avoid. Lord Jesus, meet those facing difficult conversations, uncertain decisions and concerns for the people they love. Holy Spirit, bring gentleness to anxious hearts and wisdom to overwhelmed minds. Help us distinguish what requires action from what we must entrust to Your care. Give us courage to seek help when we need it and patience when answers take time. Teach us to return to You without shame whenever worry rises again. May the peace of Christ guard your heart, His wisdom guide your decisions and His faithful love reassure you throughout today. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos. Que Deus te abençoe. Que Dios te bendiga. שלום וברכה — Shalom u’vracha.
