When love finds you, resistance is futile.
Jill Becket knows she's in trouble the minute a brand-new, gorgeous client walks into her practice.
Amelia Shaw is suffering from a massive burnout, and has no clue of the calamitous effect she's having on her new therapist.
Jill's ethical code prevents her from acting on her feelings.
Falling in love is so low on Amelia's priority list, she doesn't even consider it. Her only current life goal is to feel better.
Can these two women find each other despite the professional and personal obstacles they face?
Contains mature themes.

Continue the series
The mentioning of the former (and thankfully not very long) relationship as a patient / Dr was a bit much for me but the narrator had such an enchanting voice I just didn’t want to stop listening.
Enjoyable listen

Tbh some of the short descriptions didn’t catch me, so I was hesitant to listen to this series, but as it turns out, all of the books were worth the time.
I love that we meet all the characters in nearly all of the book, since they are a big community, friends, friends of friends, shop owners, lovers, famous and ordinary and so on. I like how they all interact and interfere with each other, how much worth friendship means, and that there is nearly no bad blood and real jealousy. I also like the mix between younger and older.
If you were hesitant like me, just start the series, you won’t stop 😊
Angela Dawe does a really great job reading this!
Nice Series

The whole series is an exciting journey, romantic, complex, erotic, light and yet with many serious topics that make you think. And refreshing: sometimes older women are lively and interesting as central characters!
