Es gibt im Grunde nur positives zu sagen. Ich liebe die Geschichte, die zwei Hauptpersonen Maddox und Damon (was zwei echt coole Namen sind, generell liebe ich die Namensgebung im Hörbuch🤣) und auch die Art der Vertonung.
Beide Charaktere sind nicht zu flach und zeigen Ecken und Kanten, sind aber auch nicht übertrieben geradlinig. Sie wirken sehr natürlich und sympathisch. Auch die Seitencharaktere (ganz spezifisch Noah) weckten Interesse und ich werde mir wohl auch noch die anderen Bücher kaufen, die zu der Reihe gehören.
Ich bin froh, dass jedes Buch der Reihe ein Abgeschlossenes in sich ist, ohne Cliffhanger, dafür (zumindest bei diesem) mit Happy End, denn ich mag Geschichten, die so dramatisch lang gezogen sind, nicht so gerne.
Ich habe das Hörbuch am Stück durchgehört, habe immer wieder gelacht oder die Charaktere angeschrieen, und voll mitgefiebert.
