  • The Scalpel Bowl
    Feb 13 2021

Ramona takes Jess on a disturbing (and sometimes disgusting) journey through the world of historical medical oddities. Discover the wonderful world of lobotomies- with or without ice picks. Find out why some people are "holier-than-thou" with just the use of a simple drill to the skull. Sit through a shocking half time show. Find out the myriad benefits of drinking pee, and decide if you want a fecal transplant or doo doo smoothie. Of course the Big Game wouldn't be complete without commercials for medicines that may still be used today, but definitely had some interesting ideas of their efficacy back then. Which stomach churning feat of "science" will prevail to win the Scalpel Bowl ring? You'll have to listen to find out!
