a fantastic book about William Blake! I can only recommend it! I had previously read Peter Ackroyd's biography. Also very worth reading. But John Higgs succeeds in bringing poetry, visual art and vision even closer together. Higgs writes very sensitively and very respectfully. He also provides a lot of historical background. But he is not limited to that. It's also very nice that he read the book. You can tell from his voice that he wrote this book with emphasis and enthusiasm!
