The story is an interesting take on sci fi and a spoof of everything vom Firefly to Star Trek.
Most of the Characters are well written and the quality of Yahtzees voice acting is as good as in the previous books

Being German, I had never heard of this guy, and promptly ran into the trap – meaning that I was instantly hooked. Since I was never one who could go cold turkey (I am vegetarian) I had to check out Audible again, and found “Will Save Galaxy...”. I was really curious to see whether this one could keep up keep with the first book by him that I heard.
Oh yes, it could.
It may not be the most novel setting, but it is exactly the constant bombardment with SciFi clichees and clever story twists that make this book so funny, and the dry sense of humor had me pull over the car more than once in the middle of traffic, just to release a sudden burst of laughter (Warning: do not listen to this book while performing surgery).
Die-hard worshippers of the Almighty Douglas Adams may forgive me, but in my humble opinion Mr. Croshaw is one of his worthiest disciples, if not his successor.
Even more, any audiobook vitally depends on a good reader, and I had several otherwise excellent books which I could not bear to finish since the reader – often the author himself – had about the voice-acting capability and sense of pointed narration (if that´s an expression? ...Kraut alert!) as a text-reader app with built-in deceptive speech disfluency, or since my German-trained ear could not comprehend a single word that Mr.Jan Kee from Mumble Creek, Texas, so enthusiastically declaimed.
Mr. Croshaw´s reading is up there with my favourites, such as Jim Dale, and fits his books perfectly (at least for 2 out of the 2 sampled so far).
And I am astonished to read the reviews here saying that some of his other books – which I have not read/heard yet – should be even better.
Needless to say that I will get all of the others as well, but also needless to say that I will not read a single one of them.
I will leave that to Mr. Croshaw, and just listen.
P.S.: And I just read that he also does reviews on as videogames as well. Must check it out. Now if he also starts to do reviews on board games, I will think about divorcing my wife.
