A fervent - analytic and often witty - advocate for freedom and against governmental paternalism
In a language that can be understood also by reader without a degree in economics, the author presents a sound reasoning for freedom and against governmental paternalism. First she clarifies how the word “liberalism” has been(mis-)used in the past and gives her own definition based on which she comprehensively builds an argumentation against overpowering governmental influence and coercion through rules and regulations that effectively not only diminishes freedom of choice and room for adult decision making but also has immense negative impact on all our welfare and economic growth. This reduces opportunities for the poor to rise.
