This is a good book, a good story and the plot is well crafted. I just was not that keen on the characters and I thought that at times, the story dragged on for too long and dealt with too many details which turned out to be completely insignificant. But I still believe that this is a very good read, very well read by Anna Parker-Naples. The family dynamics are very well portrayed, in particular when they start to deteriorate. All in all, a good read, it just did not fascinate me as much as Hodge’s other books.

Not my favourite Sibel Hodge book, but good
