Some parts are slow burn. But I knew what I would get. I read the book long ago when I was young... It still has the crept factor. As usual, it takes place in a small town and mostly involves family dynamics. The Amber Family. The words: "I think something is way wrong out at the Ambers’"sums up this story with a little a "Grannie Dearest" thrown in the mix. Like in almost all all the storys I've read from Saul at least a child dies... so be prepared.
