I really enjoyed this one, various story lines in parallel and all coming together in the end, very tense and fast pace, I really enjoyed the book and can whole-heartedly recommend it.

Vielleicht ist der Autor einfach vielseitig, aber die O'Loughlin- oder Cyrus-Haven-Reihen passen mit Handlung und Sprecher besser zu den Thriller-Handlungen.

I'm used to great work from M. Robotham usually. This one in comparison with other ones he has written is a little bit disappointing. The main character is boring, credulous, excessively unforsightful and I have to agree with some of the other recensions - she is really dumb. It's like she intentionally steps knowingly in every trap that was layed out for her. The story in general is not so bad. The ending I personally do not find likely and therefore I hated it a little bit. Not his best work really. The reader was really good though and she made up for it all a little bit.

This all was too far fetched, too naive, too simple and trivial.

I hated the main character by the way. What an idiot of a girl.

schlechteste Robotham, den ich je gelesen habe! Ich kann gar nicht glauben, dass das der gleiche Autor sein soll, der auch O‘Loughlin & Ruiz so brilliant „erschaffen“ hat.
