I'm actually very impressed with the world building in this book. It paints a vivid image of this other world with unique and intriguing lore around the "gods". I enjoy this depiction of "cruel" gods, with little but disdain for humans, who they see as so far beneath them...
As is often the case in romance books, some scenes felt a little silly to me, but it was still great fun overall! If you don't take your books too seriously and enjoy the genre, this is a good read/listen!
