It's not the best of Karen Rose, but it's ok. You need to have a lot of patience with the main character of Stevie. She's introduced as a really smart cop, but is acting so stupid that she's risking the live of her own child repeatetly. Her obvious intelligence and at the same time stupid behaviour makes her character in the book implausible.
Later in the book she's acting smarter, but, like I said, you need to patience to get there.

ok so this ones a hard one for me to rate because i love the hero in this book hes strong pationt loving and just one hell of a guy, but i really dont like the female lead shes selfish and rude mostly she is just to self involved but tge storys good and that helps me overlook her failings somewhat. The reader is ok but she is just a bit to whiny for my tast. anyways the story is fun so go for it ;)

This book takes ages to listen to. Everybody has a complicated past and the plot does only progress inch by inch. The main characters blame themselves in self destruction. OMG
