Of all the Russian classics, this is by far the BEST book. This is a life changing book. So many times did I repeat listening to parts that I felt so drawn to. Each of the main characters experience much in their lives and the way Tolstoy writes about their growth as a human from these episodes - is life changing for the reader. I love many books but this is most likely the best book I have ever read. I thank Thandiwe Newton for her excellent narration. She was perfect!
