Schöne Erzählung über eine fantastische Reiseroute, entlang der besiedelten Ränder des südlichen Himalaya. Für mich war der Sprecher etwas zu schnell, beinahe hektisch. Musste immer auf 85% hören, was nur am Tablet und nicht an der Handy App möglich ist. Situationen wirken manchmal leicht überdramatisierend, aber sehr gelungene Beschreibungen von Begnegungen mit Menschen, Kultur, und Natur. Man möchte am liebsten gleich wieder verreisen...

Listening to this book at work thinking of my next big trip this book inspired me to finally go and sea the top of the world. It is an informative and capturing story to listen to.

A completely useless book. Maybe a novel, I expected an account a out walking in the Himalayas but it's more of a very stupid and boring tale of the wanna be adventures of Levinson while crossing the Himalaya. Very little about walking, very little about the countries. But all the more about ex military man Levinson behaving like a Colonialist in the Himalaya. Neither worth the time nor the money.
