Vigor Mortis Vol. 2 schließt nahtlos an die Geschehnisse aus Volume 1 an. Die Geschichte ist weiterhin spannend und fesselnd. Die Sprecherin überragt weiterhin mit einer Glanzleistung und kann die Emotionen ziemlich gut rüberbringen.

Das Englisch ist gut verständlich. Nicht ganz dialektfrei, aber wenn, dann passt sich dieser wieder gut ein.

Ich mag auch, wie nebenbei queere Themen einfach mit angesprochen und dabei sehr natürlich behandelt werden inkl der einzelnen Problemfelder.

Vitas Werdegang werden einige vermutlich nicht mögen. Aber gleichzeitig ist ihr innerer Zwiespalt einer der spannendsten Aspekte der Geschichte.

Wir erfahren auch zum ersten Mal die Geschichte aus der Perspektive von Penelope. Und eines ihrer Kapitel ist definitiv das Lieblingskapitel des Hörbuchs.

Und jetzt nach Ende des Buches hungert es mich nach mehr, so wie es Vita nach mehr Seelen hungert.

I really like the book as it's explores a lot of ethical questions and I like how the feelings of the character become more and more clear as the story advances.

I like it, but there were a few parts in the story that didn't add up in my view.

The Humor was dark dry and fantastic.

I enjoy the well written and even better performed emotional struggles of our main protagonists in their respective chapters. And even thou I was a bit annoyed by the interludes in the beginning I wouldn't miss them at the end of the book.

Good note to end the story on.
I cant wait for the 3rd book.

Although there is a lot of f***ing swearing, but I suppose it fits the world the characters live in. Oy

The mc has a really big development and the story gets really dark, i must admit i skiped some cheapters, since i don't need to hear the munching on humans. It is really well written and besides the dark parts( which a lot people like i think) it is good.

After listening to the other book of this author i thought i'll give this one a try.
I do not regret it. It is very well written with interesting and thoughtful character development. first of all i do like that the characters make decisions like a intelligent human beeing. so many books fail on that part or just let a miscommunication get out of hand because of a lack of just talking about it.
And great respect for the world building. it is a very interesting and mysterious world with alot of potential. plus the speaker does a very good job in bringing the characters to life.
Off to book 3 i guess.
