Imagine a Britain stripped of democracy, a world of the not-too-distant future in which freedom has been surrendered willingly to a totalitarian regime which rose to power by exploiting the people's worst fears and most damning weaknesses.

This is the setting for the parable of Evey, a young woman saved from death by a masked man calling himself V. Vorweg muss ich sagen, dass ich den Film zum Buch zuerst geschaut habe. Daher waren mir Handlung bekannt.

Dennoch kann ich das Buch bzw. Hörspiel empfehlen. Es werden mehr Details und Hintergründe genannt, die im Film (rein aus zeitlichen Gründen) nicht thematisiert werden (können).

Ich fand das Buch wirklich sehr gelungen. Eine sehr interessante Geschichte. Eine die zu einer düsteren Realität werden könnte, wenn man die hrutige politische Weltlage beobachtet. Oder wenn man nicht aus der Geschichte lernt.

Ich kannte den Film und war gespannt auf die Umsetzung als Hörbuch. Ich begeistert…von Allem: Sprecher, Inhalt,….Alkes. Und wie der Film ist die fiktive Geschichte gar nicht mehr so fiktiv in manchen Ländern
