Es ist eins der Bücher, das einen nicht loslässt, von dem man allen erzählen will und über dessen Themen man diskutieren muss. Alles so wunderbar eingebettet, dass man eigentlich am Stück hören will.

Neal Shusterman ist ein extrem guter Erzähler - sowohl Scythe als auch Unwind sind sehr bewegend, verstörend, regen zum Nachdenken an. Sehr gut gelesen - ein wunderbareres Hörbuch.

Shustermans Gedankenexperimente holen mich immer wieder ab. Ein Universum wo statt Abtreibung Kinder bis zur Volljährigkeit zu Organspendern von ihren Eltern freigegeben werden - umrahmt von Fragen darüber wie Propaganda fungiert die das Undenkbare zum Standard macht. Nicht weit weg von realem Untergrund Organhandel und mit lebendigen Charakteren, die gut zeigen wie divers "troubled teens" sein können und wie ihr familiärer Hintergund sie prägt.
